Never go from a Canon to a Kodak August 15, 2010

I have always been a Canon girl. I have a Canon Rebel 12MP camera and love it! We also have a camcorder by Sony that is over 8 years old. So we leave for Floirda Thursday and I wanted a small pocket item that is easy to use through out the parks. I did TONS of research and this Kodak had the BEST reviews for one that supported an SD card. The camcorder portion is FANTASTIC. But the picture taking portion is absolutly HORRIBLE!!!!! I was once told for an employee that sold cameras at a local store, "You can always go from a Kodak to a Canon, but you can NEVER go from a Canon to a Kodak for picture taking." He is SOOOOOOOOO right! I went and bought and spent 170 on a small pocket Canon Powershot and LOVE LOVE LOVE it. I now wish that I would have bought the FLIP seeing I have to bring both devices with me. But this works good for the video only.
